Education

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honors) from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from SNDT University, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Ball State University, Indiana. 

I have a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University, Indiana. I completed my doctoral internship at Counseling and Consultation Service, The Ohio State University. 

Experience

I worked for nearly 15 years at Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS), The Ohio State University (OSU). 

Areas of expertise

 I have extensive experience in grief and loss; providing individual and group counseling in this area. In addition, I incorporate Interpersonal Process Therapy (IPT)  and multicultural counseling to provide treatment related to depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, adjusting concerns related to new jobs, becoming new parents, being in graduate/professional school,

Training

I am an EMDR-trained clinician and provided training in the area of treating survivors of sexual violence—sexual assault, interpersonal violence, stalking.
